I'm not feeling like blogging much about pretty dresses at the moment with our little country mourning the loss of many loved ones... BUT what I am excited about is the way that social media platforms can be used for awesome good during this tragic time.
SO let me share this need coming out of Christchurch:
Two of my friends have adopted nine Christchurch refugees (one girl left the city with just the clothes on her back) and they are all in Auckland now looking for jobs in the hospitality industry. They are a group of travellers from the UK over here on their big adventure... The super lame thing is that they don't have family here SO I'm hoping that with all of our networks (plus the Internet) we might be able to scope out some possible employment opportunities/interviews for these young and bubbly bartenders.Do you run/work at/frequent an Auckland bar/cafe/restaurant looking for new staff ?
